Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, NAPLAN is primarily used as a benchmarking tool, taking a snapshot of how school children across the country are tracking in terms of the literacy and numeracy skills that we believe are essential for their progress. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Samuel is an experienced English and ESL (English as a Second Language), including working with students with Autism and ADHD and has completed "Educating Students with Special Needs" at the University of Technology, Sydney. He holds a Bachelor of Teaching (Graduate) in Secondary Education and an I to I TEFL Certificate. Samuel is adept at helping his students feel comfortable and promoting learning in a safe and welcoming environment. He is confident with developmentally-appropriate strategies for supporting students of all backgrounds.

Lorraine has been a qualified Teacher for 20 years for both Primary and Secondary schools. She is an experienced, passionate and kind educator who loves building relationships with her students and helping them develop their learning. Through her studies Caitlin has learnt a variety of skills and teaching strategies to work with and teach students from a wide range of skills sets and needs.

Uhamai

NSW University Student (Masters of Software Engineering)

Mathematics: Primary & Secondary

Uhamai completed her Masters in Software Engineering through Federation University in 2020. She has 5 years formal tutoring experience, tutoring Mathematics to Years 4-9. She is also a student mentor to new students at Monash at the Melbourne Institute of Technology. Uhamai has strong interpersonal skills in working with students to help them achieve and succeed.
