Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary Maths focuses on developing students’ numeracy skills with algebraic techniques and properties of geometrical figures in Years 7 and 8, and functions, indices and data analysis in Years 9 and 10. VIC University Student (Master of Public Health)

Mathematics: Primary & Secondary

Harry completed his Victorian Certificate of Education in 2011, going on to complete his Bachelor of Biomedicine, majoring in Human Structure and Function in 2016 at the University of Melbourne and then commencing his Master of Public Health. He has 2 years' experience as a formal Tutor to primary school and early high school students in both English and Mathematics, online and face to face. Harry enjoys engaging his students with a fun and positive approach to learning Numeracy and enabling them to achieve success, as well as develop a confidence in their abilities.

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Biomedicine)

Alther completed his Victorian Certificate of Education in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 92.85, going on to comment his Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne. He has 3 years' experience in tutoring, both in group and one on one settings. Alther hopes to aid in the growth of all of his students and help them to achieve their full potential.

Benjamin is currently studying his Bachelor of Science (Physics and Economics) from the University of Sydney. He also holds a Diploma of mechanical engineering from Tafe. Benjamin has excellent communication and people skills, and loves to help others learn. With experience tutoring Mathematics and English to years 3 - 7, as well as teaching guitar and coaching a successful U/12 Soccer team, Ben is well equipped to help with any student's learning needs.
