Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. NSW University Student (Bachelor of Arts)

Ella completed her Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 91.55 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne. Ella has vast experience tutoring Secondary students for both Mathematics and English. She has a passion for guiding students to reach their full potential based on their interests, strengths, and individual learning styles.

Kanika

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Commerce)

Kanika completed her International Baccalaureate in 2019, scoring 42/45, equivalent to an ATAR of 99.2. She then went on to commence her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of New South Wale. She helped her peers with their studies while at High School and has done formal tutoring since in the subjects of Maths, Physics and English. Kanika in confident in tailoring her lessons to meet the requirements of each student. She is determined to help students realise their academic potential and achieve their learning goals through her supportive, reliable, and personalised lessons.

Yurong (Lucy) completed her Bachelor of Applied Finance in 2018. She has experience in tutoring Accounting to first year university students, as well as teaching English as a Second Language to students from Kindergarten through to high school. Lucy has a passion and desire to help students learn and grow holistically, to not only learn knowledge but also strategies and new ways of learning and thinking about subjects.
