QLD University Student (Masters of Primary Teaching)

Michael is currently studying his Master of Primary Teaching at Griffith University. As part of these studies he has completed 2 placements with Primary students. Michael aspires to be a teacher who tries to get the best out of every student, and always makes learning interesting and relatable.

Acushla

QLD Teacher

Acushla completed her Diploma of Children's Services in 2012. She then went on to complete her Bachelor of Early Years Education (Birth to 8 years) in 2015, followed by her Masters in Contemporary Education Leadership. She has been teaching Primary for 4 years, from prep to year 5 students in all subjects. Acushla is an enthusiastic, empathetic and passionate Teacher who believes that each student should have the opportunity to a learning environment where they feel safe, supported and happy to enhance their learning journey.

Emma

Emma completed a Bachelor of Science, Human Biology and Population Heath in 2016, going on to then complete her Bachelor of Psychology in 2021 at Deakin University. Between 2014 and 2019 she worked as a Private Tutor with Primary and Secondary students in Mathematics, English and Biology, helping them to understand content and improve their diligence, time-management, confidence and communication skills. Emma loves to teach and to help students achieve their goals.

Bruce

Bruce is a qualified Secondary Teacher. He completed his Graduation Certificate in Secondary Education from Melbourne University. Bruce has a passion for problem-solving and helping students work through problems critically, with a holistic methodology. He enjoys breaking down concepts to their simplest forms so students can better understand and retain the knowledge.

Hannah

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Education (Secondary))

Hannah is currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Secondary), majoring in Physics and Psychology at La Trobe University. Hannah has experience in tutoring through her university studies and during High School she has tutored Year 7 students in Japanese and fellow Year 12 students in Mathematics and English. Hannah is passionate about helping students develop their key literacy and numeracy skills for life-long use, as they work towards acquiring educational independence. Anna completed High School in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 99.60 going on to study her Engineering (Honours) and Master of Engineering at The University of Queensland. Anna is an enthusiastic, friendly Tutor who provides an engaging learning environment for all of her students.

Sia completed her Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 98.65. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) majoring in Engineering. Sia has a passion for Human Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Claire graduated High School achieving an ATAR of 97.95. She is currently studying her first year of Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology. She has experience tutoring English Literature and Mathematics Methods. Claire is a fun, vibrant Tutor dedicated to helping her students with their studies.

Akshay

VIC University Student (PhD (Applied Mathematics))

Akshay completed his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with honours in 2016 followed by his Masters Degree in Mathematics and Computing in 2018. He then commenced his PhD in Applied Mathematics at Swinburne University of Technology. Akshay has experience in tutoring Mathematics to Years 2-12. Akshay has a passion for fostering learning and analytical thinking, and prepares lesson plans to challenge his students.

Sadia is in her final year of her Bachelor of Science with a major in Biomedical Science at the University of Technology Sydney. Sadia believes in working as a team with her students to achieve their learning goals. Arshdeep

NSW University Student (Master of Teaching (Secondary))

Arshdeep is currently taking her Master of Teaching, Secondary Science at Curtin University. She has completed her Bachelor's Degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Western Sydney University in 2018. She has experience in tutoring students in Chemistry and Mathematics. Arshdeep has a love for teaching and learning which he imparts onto her students.

Jack completed High School in 2020 with an ATAR of 98.75 and is now completing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne. Jack believes that his experience with remote learning throughout 2020 and 2021 has provided him with an in-depth knowledge of remote learning and knowing what works and what does not. He believes that he has a strong understanding of how to help make virtual learning more impactful and meaningful for his students with the ability to inspire them with their studies.
