Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Owen completed his Higher School Certificate in 2018. After he finished school he took a gap year and worked as a Teaching Assistant in the UK for 2 years, working with Primary aged students, helping with English, Reading, Literary Studies and homework. He also gained some experience with special needs students. Owen then went on to study a Bachelor of Secondary Education in History and English. Owen is committed to developing positive and supportive relationships with his students.

Jo is studying a Master of Teaching (Secondary) through Curtin University to follow her love of education. Jo is a friendly and approachable Tutor who believes in working as a team with her students to achieve their learning goals. NSW University Student (Bachelor of Vision Science / Masters of Clinical Optometry)
Mathematics: Secondary
Habib achieved an ATAR of 97.75 and is currently studying a Masters of Clinical Optometry at the University of New South Wales. Habib found numerous learning techniques that helped him academically and is able to impart this on to his students. He loves breaking down complex concepts so that they are easy to understand and build on this knowledge.

Heath completed his Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 93.10. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Science (Biomolecular Physics) at University of Wollongong. Heath enjoys breaking down concepts to their simplest forms so students can better understand and retain the knowledge. Enthusiastic and encouraging tutor who loves teaching mathematics. Great at explaining concepts from first principles and developing critical math skills and techniques that will be used all throughout high school. Particularly passionate about application of maths in problem solving. Experience tutoring students in years 6-10.

Through tutoring, Jordan hopes to provide individualised attention, confidence and build on a students' learning skills. He is currently at university studying Law and Social Science, and has experience working as a Teaching Assistant and has a passion for many subjects especially Maths and English. Jordan graduated Year 12 in 2019 and finished in the top 10% of the state with a 91.75 ATAR. He has a passion for teaching and has worked with a variety of students including children with special needs, and loves coaching/playing football and cricket in his spare time.
