Achieve your best as you study in detail the texts, concepts and skills that matter most to success in Senior English. You will encounter a range of oral, written and multimodal texts, including from literary, digital and media sources, and will strengthen your expression of creative ideas and insights. Joshua completed his Bachelor of Education (Secondary), graduating with Honours at the Queensland University of Technology in 2010, majoring in English and History. He has experience teaching English to years 7-10 in Australia, as well as teaching both Secondary and Primary English and English As a Second Language overseas. He is passionate about helping students develop their oral and written communication skills as they work towards achieving their educational goals.

Olivia commenced her Bachelor of Law (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology) in 2019 at Monash University. She has four years' experience working as a Victorian Certificate of Education Tutor in subjects in Victorian Certificate of Education including Legal Studies, Literature and Psychology. Her tutoring experience has been both formal and informal, in groups and one-on-one. Olivia wants to be present for her students when they are struggling with their school work or just want to keep improving, believing that if she and her students work together, they can achieve their goals.

Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.

First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?

During the session
